Okay, if you’re like me and have a girl crush on Angelina, this is a must see. She looks amazing!! I’m not a super fan of action movies but heck there are two hotties to look at. James McAvoy is just too cute. For an action movie there were a lot of funny lines and situations. Everything was so fast paced and there are tons of “it can only happen in the movies” kind of moments. Overall an enjoyable just for fun movie. It’s even funnier as I’m watching, I’m half expecting Morgan Freeman to just start narrating the movie. lol

My Rating: for the action fun.

You Don’t Mess With the Zohan

If like stupid funny than go watch this movie! Some scenes are so ridiculously dumb they’re funny. There were so many people in there of all ages and I mean all ages. I was really surprised at how many people in their twenties were out watching it with their parents. hmmm.

Because sometimes you just gotta stupidly laugh out loud and it’s okay because someone in the audience is laughing out loud in such a weird funny way. Yeah, don’t all movies have that weird person?!?

At first I really wasn’t too interested in seeing Transformers but dear BF wanted to treat me to dinner and a movie, so heck, why not. All I can say is that, ya’ll should definitely check it out, especially if you have children. The movie turned out to be a lot better than I expected. Great action scenes and hottie Josh Duhamel for eye candy appeal. hehe . I almost teared up a bit because they did such a good job with the Transformers’ performance; so much emotion through a robotic exterior.

I really liked 28 Days Later and had low expectations for the sequel 28 Weeks Later but was pleasantly surprised. The plot was decent, and the characters were interesting. Some of the scenes were really intense, I jumped a few times in my seat. The ending did leave me slightly confused since I tend to over analyze movies thinking there’s always more or that the movie purposely had a hidden meaning sort of deal. But dear BF says that’s how zombie movies are, there is no actual resolution or answer. Over all, if you’re interested in a scary-ish end of the world, disease and infection type of a movie, go check it out. 

I just saw 300 and can I just say, this movie ROCKS!!!! I normally do not like fighting movies with lots of blood and action but this movies was just beautiful. I could not take my eyes off the screen. The imagery was amazing. This was produced by Frank Miller, you might remember him from Frank Miller’s Sin City. This movie is similar in style where the images are a mix between normal and a bit of comic blur. I don’t know if I can even explain it properly, so all I can say is, I loved it. Plus, there are tons of gorgeous sculpted half naked men throughout the whole movie. yummmy. Oh and one of my fav actors Gerard Butler in it too so that was just icing on the cake. Delicious!
