I’m just a newbie trying to find my place in this vast world of on-line knitters. I’m pretty private but oddly enough I’m here sharing my failures and successes. Let the adventure begin…

2008 

Plans for this year:

  • A nifty project other than socks. hmmm  Can I do this?
  • More socks
  • Become a better blogger

Not-so-Quick Bits:

  • I started researching about knitting on May 4, 2006. How do I remember this? Well that was the day I registered at KnittingHelp.com and that’s the date that shows up on my account. Amy has great how-to videos and that’s how I learned.
  • I was inspired to knit a few scarves and socks. I think I ended up making one really long garter stitch scarf and the Knit picks socks I posted. I started a moss stitch scarf but didn’t finish it until I picked up knitting again.
  • I learned to knit my first socks from Silver’s Sock Tutorial.
  • I was enthusiastic about knitting until about mid-July. Then I stopped. No idea why really, just did for some reason. Then one night, sometime in November, I just woke up and had an urge to finish that darn moss stitch scarf. Ever since then, I’ve been knitting. Hurray!
  • Declaration: 2007 year of the sock! I really want to venture out and knit fancier socks that are not just stockinette stitch.
